What a morning for Swindon.

Thousands of runners took to the streets today as the Swindon Half Marathon returned for its second year since being revived.

From the start at Coate Water to the crowds cheering runners around the course, the town turned out for one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

There were club runners chasing times, people completing their first half marathon, plenty running for good causes, and even comedian Ivo Graham tackling the 13.1 miles dressed as a pig for The Harbour Project and Prospect Hospice.

Congratulations to everyone who ran, volunteered, supported and helped make it happen.

Comedian Ivo Graham @ivo_graham took on the Swindon Half Marathon today, dressed as a pig.

The Taskmaster and Live at the Apollo star swapped the stage for the streets of Swindon, running the 13.1-mile course in costume to raise money for two local charities, The Harbour Project @swindonharbour and Prospect Hospice @prospecthospice .

A brilliant effort, and certainly one of the more memorable sights on the course today.
